Choosing to follow Jesus is the most impactful decision you can make, transforming your entire life. Whether you’re ready to begin following him now or simply seeking more information, this page is designed to guide you.
You probably have an opinion about Jesus. Maybe you think He’s a great teacher or a prophet. Maybe you think He didn’t exist at all. Whatever you believe, we can probably agree that Jesus changed things.
We believe He wants to change you too, and that he’s paved the way back to God for you.
Jesus himself said
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The beautiful part of this truth is Jesus makes the way for us back to God. It isn’t up to our ability to be perfect or do enough good than bad, but rather Christ’s ability to be the ultimate sacrifice.

It is incredible what Jesus did for us to provide a way back to God. It is through His death and resurrection that we find forgiveness for our sins and new life in full relationship with Him.
Find Salvation
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Step One: Surrender
Realize that the way you’ve done life up to this point doesn’t work. You’ve sinned against God and against man. Your sin has been destructive and has caused harm to relationship. Surrendering is about the realization that your way doesn’t work and instead, you are going to live in a relationship with God: knowing Him and following His lead.
Jesus, you are my Lord.
Step Two: Believe
Jesus died in the place of sinful mankind. He died as the needed sacrifice for your sins. But proving His deity, He conquered death and returned to life after three days in the grave. Belief in this truth is a belief that Jesus though fully man, was also God in the flesh. Only through His perfection and sacrifices can be find salvation.
Jesus, you are my God, the risen Savior.
Pray this simple
prayer out loud.
God, I’ve sinned against you and tried to live this life my way. Forgive me. I believe that Christ Jesus is your Son. And I declare that you, Jesus are my Lord. I will know and follow you for the rest of my days. I believe your death was sufficient for the payment for my sin, and your resurrection gives me access to a new life with you. I believe this in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord.

This is the first step in a lifelong journey of knowing and following Jesus. You are now one of His disciples and a member of His family, we call the church. As a disciple of Jesus, He is asking you to follow Him, the first step is to let the world know that you are His. We do this through baptism as Jesus modeled.
NEXT STEP AS A DISCIPLE
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle Peter, one of Jesus’ original disciples tells us that we need to repent and be baptized. You repented with that prayer and now take the next step and be baptized. We are ready to baptize each week during our Sunday service, if you would like we can provide you a change of clothes.
As you are learning this new life, you will come across things you do not understand, but that is completely normal and okay. Ask a fellow disciple your questions, they would love to explain it.
