House of
Prayer.
Prayer is our greatest responsibility and highest privilege. At Hill City, we pray like it depends on God and work like it depends on us. We pray in the will of God and to the glory of God. We pray the scriptures, and we “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” (Eph. 6:18). We dream big and pray hard—and we have witnessed God’s miracles in our own lives and in our city!
We are a praying people
God honors bold prayers because bold prayers honor God.
Hill City is a praying church that believes in the transformative power of prayer and God’s ability to move mountains. We stand firm in faith, knowing that no challenge is too great for God to overcome. As James reminds us, “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). We trust that when we come together in prayer, aligning our hearts with His will, God hears us and responds in mighty ways. At Hill City, we witness His hand at work as we lift up our prayers in confidence, expecting great things from a faithful God who answers.

Bold Prayers
Circling Our Neighborhood in Prayer.
At Hill City Church, we believe in the power of prayer to transform not just our lives but our communities. When we circle things in prayer, we make it tangible by praying as we walk, bringing our prayers into the spaces we hope to see God move.
We are committed to circling the neighborhood of Papeton in prayer. As we prayer walk through these streets, we ask God for healing, restoration, and His Gospel to be felt. We walk and pray as we serve our neighbors, lifting up each home, business, and family. We believe that wherever we walk in faith, God will work in power.
We pray for Hill City to have a permanent home, for businesses with a kingdom focus to be started, and for Project Elpizo to help bring economic revival to this neighborhood as Hill City brings spiritual revival.
Pray with us. Walk with us.
