FAQ

Fequently Asked Questions

What are Community Groups?

Communities create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow as disciples of Jesus together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A Community Group Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect.

Is there childcare?

Hill City doesn’t offer childcare for Communty Groups. However, some Groups share the responsibility of arranging their own childcare by finding sitters or making other arrangements. Some Groups include children while they meet.

Lead a Group

Jesus compared leading to shepherding. Shepherds know the sheep in their care. A good shepherd guides his flock with love and kindness, pursuing each one individually while caring for the flock as a whole.

This is what it’s like to lead a Group. Community Leaders do more than pursue God with their friends. They step into the authority to love and serve as a shepherd who cares for their sheep.

If you have a group of friends you’d like to pursue Jesus with, we’ll equip you with the rest.
